Add the green beans (1 lb.) and salt and pepper to taste, and sauté for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until crisp-tender and beginning to brown on the outside.
Remove from heat and transfer to a serving platter.
Sprinkle the walnuts (1/2 cup) and crumbled blue cheese (4 oz.) on top.
