Hi everyone!
Just checking in from the home front here after a week and a half with our amazing little munchkin! I was going to do a new recipe post, but alas, I am tired. Turns out parenting a newborn is tiring. Who would have thought?
So I thought I’d regale you with what I call the “many faces of Zoey.”
The I just drank so much milk I passed out face:
The I’m looking fabulous in my headband with a flower as big as my head face:
The ummmm… what the heck is going on?! face: (my favorite)
The BIG YAWN face:
And the staring at everything intensely, taking in the world face:
Recipe coming next week! I have a yummy paleo oven fried chicken finger recipe I’m dying to share with y’all, as long as an herb roasted veggies with balsamic reduction recipe. Both easy, delicious, and paleo/whole30 compliant!
xoxo,
Elizabeth and Zoey

She is beautiful! I gave birth to four (nothing like the beautiful sweet smell of a precious baby (though I could do without the dirty diaper smell) and raised five children!
Cherish every moment honey because before you know it, they are too soon frown and half a world away…
you may “bore me” (tongue in cheek here) with her photos any day….most of my grandchildren are grown with babes of their own ( I call my greats, my precious “littles” though I still have 3 grandchildren under 10…
May god richly bless you, Zach and precious Zoey

Thank you so much Margo! I’ll keep the photos coming :-)

Wonderful! I always thought it was so amazing each time I was pregnant that the last two weeks seemed longer than the entire 9 months!…of course that could just been me that felt that way…so tired of being pregnant and afterwards, you’re tired from getting used to the new baby, I breast fed mine so it seemed like I was up and down all night long! They never wanted the rubber nipple for water or juice…but everyone of them was so worth it! Give little Zoey a hug & a kiss from all of your readers!

She is absolutely adorable!!! She looks like you Elizabeth. Congratulations! I said a prayer for you all. Oh and thanks for all the wonderful recipes!! I follow a couple food blogs but I always come back to yours…. seems we have similar tastes! Love that cilantro, cheese, potatoes and spicy! Enjoy your new baby! They grow up sooo quickly; all 4 of mine are grown with the last one turning 20 the other day. God bless your new family!
